Wonderful Me in the past!

As part of our Wonderful Me topic, we have been finding out about differences between childhood today and life in our grandparents’ childhood.

The lovely Carmel Darragh came in from Carnlough after being asked by her neighbour Daisy in P.1. Carmel told us all about her childhood. It was so interesting to hear all about the differences in our childhoods.

We noticed that Carmel had very little technology in the home and that the bathroom was outside! Carmel also rarely had takeaways and it seems P.1 & 2 are fond of a wee chippy! We loved looking at the old coins and talking to Carmel. Thanks so much for coming in!
