Sodas and Fadge!

P.1 & 2 had a fantastic surprise today! Anne Currell (Granny of Oliver in P.3) came to help us bake soda bread and potato bread. Anne kindly supplied all ingredients and equipment. The children absolutely loved it and I hope parents will agree that their baking tastes delicious. An extra thank you to Anne who also made shamrock shortbread for everyone in the school as a St. Patricks Day treat! Another worthwhile learning experience in our 'Food Glorious Food' topic!
