P1 & 2 Birdwatch!

P1 & 2 enjoyed their #bigschoolsbirdwatch so much that Mrs Moran decided to have a birdy themed day!

We used our knowledge of 2D shape to create shape birds. Using circles, semi circles and triangles the boys and girls made robins, magpies and blackbirds.

In Music, we listened the The Aviary from Carnival of the Animals from Saint Saens and responded to the music by drawing what we could hear. The children worked collaboratively and made a beautiful aviary themed mural!
