Meet Bob the Battery Bin

To continue our work on waste, Mrs Moran ordered us a battery bin! 

Today we had a whole school meeting and discussed the need for batteries, the dangers and how to safely dispose of them. Shay in P2 outlined exactly how batteries can be dangerous for little babies. 

The whole school worked together to come up with ideas to promote our new bin. Eventually we decided that he was a best friend of Rob, our recycling robot! We decided to create a short video about recycling batteries.
