Like a girl?

Today in the playground Mrs Moran heard reports of children saying that someone was 'crying like a girl'! So we made it our mission this afternoon to look at what makes us... us! 

We looked at what boys were good at and what girls were good at. We looked at what toys and games were 'girly' and which were 'boyish'. We also talked about jobs that girls could do and ones that boys could do. 

After lots of discussion we have decided that we can be whoever/ whatever we want to be! It was amazing for the children to realise that the girls liked all the 'boyish' toys and activities and that the boys like some of the 'girly' ones. 

As PJ in P3 wisely said 'Sure we are all the same!'
