Glenarm Beach Clean Up!

Today P.1-7 took part in the Big Beach Clean Up in conjunction with Live Here Love Here. We picked up all the rubbish along the beach and we were so lucky to have volunteers from Glenarm Wildlife Group to help! Thanks so much guys!

When we got back to school we sorted the rubbish and found that we had

  • 26kg of plastic
  • 15kg of metal
  • 12kg of glass/ pottery
  • 1kg of fabric

WE FOUND AN ASTONISHING 54 KG OF RUBBISH! THAT'S 8 1/2 STONE!
