Can we save Humpty Dumpty's life?
P.1 and P.2's new topic this term is Nursery Rhymes. Last week we learned all about Humpty Dumpty. We recreated the story using other rhyming words; PJ came up with 'Humpty Dumpty was up a tree, Humpty Dumpty needed a pee!' The children all had lots of ideas. We then conducted a science experiment where we tried to find a way to stop Humpty Dumpty cracking when he falls off the wall. We looked a range of materials, predicted the outcome then noted down which materials stopped Humpty Dumpty from becoming scrambled egg! It was lots of fun! If you are looking for a way to transport your eggs... cotton wool might be a good bet!
